Thermodynamic Analysis of a Hybrid System Coupled Cooling, Heating and Liquid Dehumidification Powered by Geothermal Energy

The utilization of geothermal energy is favorable for the improvement efficiency. A hybrid system consisting a seasonal heating and cooling cycle, an absorption refrigeration cycle liquid dehumidification proposed to meet dehumidification, space demands. Geothermal utilized effectively in cascade approach. Six performance indicators, including humidity efficiency, enthalpy moisture removal rate, coefficient performance, capacity, are developed analyze system. effect key design parameters terms desiccant concentration, air humidity, temperature, temperature segment on indicators investigated. simulation results indicated that increase concentration makes rate capacity efficiency decrease. With temperatures from 100 130 °C approximately invariant. decreasing rates with 140 increases respectively. except decrease temperature. decreases by 49.88% reinjection increasing 70 80 °C. This work potential utilize effectively.
